BPU Cents for St Susan Center Hot Dog Sale

and donate deposit pop cans and bottle to Farm Fresh.
Postal Carriers Food Drive- non-perishable food items will be picked up by postal carriers. Food will be distributed to Joint Neighborhood Project, Salvation Army and St. Susan Center.
South Hills Country Club is sponsoring their third annual Memorial Golf Tournament. This year St. Susan Center will receive proceeds from event.

The smell of grilled hot dogs will fill the air from 11 a.m. – 3 p.m., Saturday, May 8, at Farm Fresh Foods on Fluvanna Avenue as BPU volunteers sell hotdogs and soda to benefit the “Cents for St. Susan’s” fund drive. Farm Fresh Foods will provide the food to sell so that all proceeds will go to the St. Susan Center to provide food for the needy in spring and summer this year. The public may also bring empty cans and bottles to the sale to be redeemed for the St. Susan Center.
During the BPU’s “Cents for St. Susan’s” fund drive, redeemable cans and bottles also may be taken to BPU Customer Service, 92 Steele Street, Jamestown to benefit St. Susan’s. The drive ends May 19. Checks for the drive may be written to St. Susan Center and mailed to the BPU c/o Becky Robbins, P.O. Box 700, Jamestown, NY 14702-0700. Contributions may also be left at Customer Service or in canisters placed throughout our community.

Empty Bowl Lunch Postponed due to Rain
In spite of valiant efforts to prepare for inclement weather, St. Susan Center's Empty Bowl Lunch in Bemus had to be canceled today. The new date has not yet been set, but all soup vendors and both bands have said that they will participate at the new time. My sincerest apologies to all who are inconvenienced by the postponement and my thanks to all who have been so supportive! ~ Judy
